Painting exhibition was organized

A three-day Painting and Photo exhibition was held at the Nepal Art Council Gallery in Kathmandu from 1-3 December 2016. The exhibition showcased the loss of lives and property due to the use of landmines and explosives, the existing activities on mine risk education, the demining of mines and the impact of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during the decade-long conflict. The Painting and Photo exhibition showcased those problematics by focusing on nature, women, children and other themes. This exhibition contributed to changing the minds of artists and also gave confidence and hope to the survivors, knowing their efforts have an impact on the mobilization and that resources are available.
